You could just walk around or drive to a lake for some tranquil time or visit an old temple, a British-era church or a war memorial. Or you can just choose to take a safari to the national park. You will have plenty of things to spend your time on should you choose to venture out of your cozy resort.

Jim Corbett National Park

Corbett Safari: You can enjoy a safari to Kalagarh Tiger Reserve (Jim Corbett National Park) at a very reasonable price. A safari gypsy will pick you up from our hotel and drop you back after hours of adventure in the wild. Riding a jeep rolling on the curvy path, crossing the shallow mountain river, and making way into the deep forest can be exhilarating. You can encounter a variety of trees and animals. The visit would be a chance to see the Sal forest and the great spread of Khair-Sisso over the hills. You can also enjoy the company of Royal Bengal tigers, leopards, Asiatic elephants, bears, chital, barking deer, hog deer, sambar, barasingha, otters, and a variety of birds.

Lansdowne Cant Area

About 17 km from the resort, was built by the British rulers. The place was originally called KalonDanda, or black hill, as it was mostly covered in cloud.

— Located in the Lansdowne’s ridge this place is a perfect picnic spot. At about 2000 meter above sea level, this place offers an amazing view of the Chaukhamba and Trishul peaks of the Garhwal Himalayas. Viewing sunset in the company of your loved ones can be really unforgettable from here. To reach this place you need to just walk 200 meters from the motorable road.

Bhulla Lake

Bhulla Tal, a small artificial lake in Lansdowne, is another key tourist attraction. It draws its name from the Garhwali word Bhulla that means younger brother. The Tal is dedicated to the soldiers of Garhwal Rifles who helped build this lake. The lake is maintained by Indian Army. Have a picnic or some solitary, quiet time. It’s closed on Wednesday!

St. Mary's Church

St. Mary's Church was built in 1896 by Col. A.H.B Hume of the Royal Engineers. For visitors, it brings home the memory of British era. Opens Saturday & Sunday Only! Timings 10.00 - 13.00 and 15.00-17.0

The War Memorial

The War Memorial of Garhwal Rifles was established in 1923 by Lord Rawlinson, the then Commander in Chief of Indian Army. It is built on the Parade Ground in Lansdowne and attracts a lot of tourists.

Kanvashram

Kanvashram is a picturesque settlement on the outskirts of Kotdwar and is known as a site of great historical, archaeological and cultural importance. It is located on the banks of the river Malini. As per Hindu ancient texts and local legends, Kanvashram is believed to be the site where Menaka, a divine nymph, was sent by the king of gods, to allure sage Vishwamitra and disturb his long-lasting meditation.

Tarkeshwar Mahadev temple

Mahadev is a village 50 km from Corbett Riviera and is at a height of 1,800 meters above sea level. It houses a famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Surrounded by thick forests of cedar and pine, this is a great place for nature lovers. A drive to this place can be really exhilarating with the hills and greenery along the road.
